Much Ado About Nothing

So we started reading the play "Much Ado About Nothing" by William Shakespeare.

Honestly, getting back to reading Shakespeare can be tough at times but I'm adapting to it again.

When we were reading the play I would imagine Benedick and Beatrice maybe around their 20s and from the looks of it they have some kind of history between them, they also look more "experienced" when it comes to love especially compared to Hero and Claudio. Hero and Claudio seems to be in love right when they first saw each other, I think they would be around 16 or 17.

After we read the play, we saw the movie. In the movie there was this cliche scene when the men came in riding on horses and the girls running towards them in slow motion. Besides all of that, the movie in some ways is how I imagined it while reading it. Oh, and Benedick and Beatrice will obviously end up together.

The Royal Baby

We now have welcomed the newest edition of the royal family, a healthy baby boy. The royal baby was born on 22nd of July morning in St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington but has not yet been named. The duchess and prince gave the news through modern technology. Members of the royal family said they could not be happier and they fully support Prince William and the Duchess, Kate Middleton.

First English Class

I just had my first week of high school, and it wasn't what I thought it would be. We are now having our IGCSE exams and it's making me feel a little uneasy.

Today we had our first English class. We started the class with an activity. We had to arrange ourselves according to height and names, which was random.

After all of that, Jon showed us a complete presentation about the EFL IGCSE exam. There were quite a lot of things we needed to cover by the end of the school year. The first thing we studied was how to summarise and point out the key points of a passage or text. This isn't one of my strengths especially when it comes to writing with a word limit.

Our homework was to make a blog so here I am now.

I'm hoping by the time the exam comes, I would have enough practices and be ready to take it.

My mom is now telling me to stop doing my homework and do it later, weirdest thing I've ever heard from her. So bye.
